Branding, UX Design, Web As one of South Australia’s largest employers – with over 4000 people statewide – Baptist Care SA looked tired, old and people were confused about what they actually did. Whilst at The Distillery I undertook the challenge to refresh the business with a new brand strategy, platform and look. We went out and met many of their clients – from people with mental health issues to the homeless – to find out how the new brand should act and feel and in the process found the tireless work Baptist Care do wasn’t represented by the current overly religious and dowdy style. After preliminary workshops and research groups with key stakeholders a bold, celebratory style and brand platform ‘Keep Faith’ was devised. Whenever clients, staff or anybody encountered Baptist Care SA we wanted them to leave feeling positive, empowered and supported. Using ‘Keep Faith’ and stained glass as an influence, a series of logos, along with iconography for each of their services were created. Launch Site The project rollout involved designing templates for their in-house designers to create brochures, banners, posters as well as business cards, newsletters and all digital assets – from the mobile responsive website to EDMs.
