What started out as a simple internal film initially for recruitment and training purposes morphed into a successful 3 minute cinema & tvc.

Whilst working with Great Southern Rail on infamous rail journeys The Ghan and Indian Pacific I helped write, art direct and edit – with copywriting partner Matt O’Grady and filmmaker Randy Larcombe – a 3 minute film that was to be used initially internally for branding, recruitment and training purposes.

In this film we explored how staff throughout the business genuinely go above and beyond in their quest to create the best holiday experiences possible for their guests. What we found was a group of dedicated and hardworking people as proud as us to work on such an iconic brand.

The client was so happy with the finished piece that they chose to run the 3-minute film prime time on major TV networks and in cinemas. The results were extremely unexpected; the first time it ran the website literally went down with the interest it generated.
